The Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate program at the University of Miami is specifically designed for career changers, not for science or academic enhancement. Students applying to the post-baccalaureate program cannot be currently enrolled in any graduate program, must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited four year college, and must have earned a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in the last four semesters of academic work (undergraduate or graduate). Only grades posted as of the date the application is submitted will be considered. Students who apply for the program while enrolled in courses may not wait until the end of term to request GPA recalculation.
Our next application deadline is March 11, 2016. Applications for a summer I or fall 2016 start will be reviewed after the March deadline and applicants will be notified of acceptance/rejection by mid-April 2016.
