The mission of the University of Miami’s Web and Digital Communications and Marketing Advisory Group is to strengthen the University’s Web presence.

The group will study issues and provide recommendations on topics concerning current and future strategies for the Web. It will be a central forum to:

·Share and discuss Web development and policies
·Promote the efficiency and continuity of various Web teams and products at the University of Miami
·Collect feedback

Issues to be addressed by the overall group and subgroups will include: identify University Web strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and institutional priorities; study and evaluate emerging technologies; and review and update Web policies and standards.
