School of Architecture Presents a Lecture by Architectural Photographer Steven Brooke

Coral Gables (November 01, 2010) — WHAT: University of Miami (UM) School of Architecture will host a lecture given by internationally renowned architectural photographer Steven Brooke on the history and principles of architectural photography.

WHO: Steven Brooke is one of the world’s leading architectural photographers. He is a recipient of numerous awards and honors like the prestigious National AIA Institute Honor Award, Rome Prize winner/Fellow of the American Academy in Rome and Fellow of the Albright Institute in Jerusalem. Brooke is the photographer of 36 books on architecture and design, eight of which he has also written.

Wednesday, November 10, at 6 pm Lecture at the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center, Glasgow Hall, 1215 Dickinson Drive, University of Miami Coral Gables campus.
November 15 through November 19- Exhibit of student’s work from Brooke’s classes in architectural photography, at the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center, Irving Korach Gallery, 1215 Dickinson Drive, University of Miami Coral Gables campus.
