Save the date: Training session on Research Reporting System to be held January 11

Coral Gables (December 24, 2010) — Answering questions about sponsored research financials and animal protocols is now a lot easier. The University of Miami has developed a University-wide, Web-based Research Reporting System (RRS) to make extramural funding and scholarly productivity information more accessible to the research community. The system allows users to generate lists of past proposals, pending proposals, and currently funded awards, as well as summarize relevant IACUC protocol information, use of veterinary resources, and CITI certifications. Additionally, users can generate lists of investigators and identify collaborators by searching award titles for keywords.

Join the Office of Research Information Management for an RRS information session on Tuesday, January 11 at 1 p.m. in Dominion Towers, 12th-floor conference room. In addition to providing an overview and useful tips on how to use the system, the session will offer participants an opportunity to share their needs with the reporting team.

Registration is available through ULearn. For more information about this training session, please contact the Office of Research Education and Training at 305-243-5092 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
