September 13, 2012 — The November election is approaching quickly, and as a student living in South Florida and attending the University of Miami, you have the right to vote as a Florida resident in this election.
Registering to vote has never been easier. Click on www.umiami.turbovote.org to register online. You can also request an absentee/mail-in ballot and/or receive an email or text reminder to vote on Election Day—all by going to www.umiami.turbovote.org.
Once you register through TurboVote, you will receive the completed registration form with a self-addressed stamped envelope. All you will need to do is sign the form and mail it. Remember that the last day to register to vote in Florida is October 9.
