Positive Parenting

Coral Gables (March 27, 2012) — Facing the challenges of raising children in today’s complex, fast-paced world, parents often feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and stressed. In this lunchtime seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program, learn positive parenting skills geared for those employees with children ages 5 to 11. Part 2 of the seminar will explore practical methods that support positive parenting. Current, reliable, and practical information on a variety of other parenting topics will also be addressed. FSAP Health and Wellness Seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program.

Miller School of Medicine campus: Tuesday, March 27 from 12 to 1 p.m. at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center C

Coral Gables campus: Wednesday, March 28 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the University Center, Room 245

Rosenstiel School campus:  Thursday, March 29 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Rare Book Room
