CORAL GABLES, Fla. (April 29, 2014) — It was an oasis in the heart of campus, a respite from the pressure of academics. Relaxation strategies to deal with test-taking took the form of petting animals, chair massages, meditation sessions, or just a lazy nap in a hammock on Tuesday, when The Huffington Post partnered with the University of Miami to bring its stress-reducing OASIS to the Foote Green. Geared toward students, the complimentary services and activities, which also included arts and crafts, healthy snacks, beauty treatments, and yoga, helped them unplug and recharge, as well as find balance, during the toughest time of the semester—final exams.
