Managing Diabetes

October 31, 2011 — Coral Gables — Funded by a $1 million annual gift from the United Health Foundation, a University of Miami diabetes program at Jefferson Reaves Sr. Health Center in Overtown is helping keep poor and uninsured diabetics healthy and from becoming a burden on Miami-Dade taxpayers. Other UM schools and colleges operate initiatives that support underserved Miami-Dade residents. To learn more, click here.
