January 28, 2011 — Coral Gables — Effort reporting on grants and contracts is a major compliance issue. The Office of the Controller and the Office of Research Education and Training will host a class on Effort Certification Reporting (ECR) on Wednesday, February 9 at 9 a.m. in Dominion Towers, tenth-floor conference room. Come and learn why there is a need to track effort on a sponsored account and how to read the different forms. The class will also cover deadlines for submission, required signatures, documentation, and how to account for changes in effort.
