March 27, 2012 — Coral Gables — TIAA-CREF will be hosting a workshop for women interested in learning more about investing and saving strategies. The workshop, “She’s Got It: A Woman’s Guide to Saving and Investing,” will take place on the Miller School of Medicine campus in the Clinical Research Building, sixth-floor Executive Center,on Wednesday, March 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (dinner provided) and on the Coral Gables campus at BankUnited Center, Hurricane 100 Room, on Thursday, March 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (lunch provided) and again from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. (snack provided).
The workshop will include a discussion on core concepts that guide investing, a financial personality type quiz, and group activities that will help you outline your financial goals and create steps to reach them.
