March 27, 2012 — Coral Gables — Service excellence. Teamwork. Innovation. These are words that, on paper, may mean little. But when you meet someone who embodies these terms – a UM colleague who consistently goes above and beyond to make a difference at the University – these words come to life. If someone you know has done something extraordinary, take the time to recognize their efforts by nominating them as a “Hurricane Champion.” Honorees and their good deeds will be posted on the Hurricane Champions website, a place for all of us to read their stories and share their successes. As an added bonus, all nominees will be placed in a raffle to win prizes during UM Family Weekend with the Marlins, April 26-28.
