November 19, 2010 — Coral Gables — The Office of Research Compliance is sponsoring a series of seminars on conflicts of interest (COI) in research. The objectives of the fall sessions are to:
• Provide a refresher on the UM COI policy for sponsored research and the UM process for identifying potential COI in sponsored research;
• Review regulations proposed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH); and
• Gather feedback from the research community.
Faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to attend one of the following seminars:
Coral Gables campus: Tuesday, November 30 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Flipse Building, Room 502
Miller School of Medicine campus: Tuesday, December 14 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Mailman Center for Child Development, Room 3023
