Free Flu Vaccine Currently Available until Supply Lasts

(January 10, 2011) — According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (, influenza cases continue to increase. You need the flu vaccine to protect yourself against the flu. The CDC recommends that everyone age 6 months and older should get the vaccine. The University currently has a limited supply of free flu vaccines available for employees. Visit the following locations to get your free flu vaccine while supplies last.

University of Miami Hospital: West Building, Suite 502, fifth floor, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Hope Lodge: Suite 202, second floor, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Environmental Health and Safety: Dominion Tower, Suite 405, fourth floor, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
