(January 10, 2011) — According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (http://www.cdc.gov/flu), influenza cases continue to increase. You need the flu vaccine to protect yourself against the flu. The CDC recommends that everyone age 6 months and older should get the vaccine. The University currently has a limited supply of free flu vaccines available for employees. Visit the following locations to get your free flu vaccine while supplies last.
University of Miami Hospital: West Building, Suite 502, fifth floor, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Hope Lodge: Suite 202, second floor, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Environmental Health and Safety: Dominion Tower, Suite 405, fourth floor, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
