Faculty and Staff Assistance Program seminar: The Pursuit of Happiness

(January 06, 2011) — The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is offering a lunchtime seminar for those interested in exploring the pursuit of happiness. Although elusive for many these days, happiness continues to be a very sought-after experience. Our struggles to attain it lead many down treacherous paths, only to realize, late in the game, that we are lost and in need of a new compass. This seminar will provide opportunity for an open discussion about happiness. It will also provide one model “compass” that can be used to help those seeking this experience. A University of Miami FSAP employee assistance professional will facilitate the seminar.

Coral Gables campus: Tuesday, January 11 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Gables One Tower, Room 1100J; and Friday, January 14 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the University Center, Flamingo Ballroom A.

Rosenstiel School campus: Wednesday, January 12 from 12 to 1 p.m., Dean’s Conference Room, SLAB 107.

Miller School of Medicine campus: Thursday, January 13 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Dominion Parking Garage, Room 155.
