(October 08, 2012) — Show your UM pride this Homecoming. Join the Department of Auxiliary Services, Logo Licensing, for the Second Annual ’Canes Spirit Day on Friday, October 19. The goal of ’Canes Spirit Dayis to celebrate and promote the traditions and excellence of the University of Miami. This fun-filled day will bring the campuses and community to life and build camaraderie as we all share our enthusiasm and support for the University, our athletic programs, and student-athletes.
This year ’Canes Spirit Day will include the formation of “The Biggest U.” Students, faculty, staff, and alumni, along with Sebastian the Ibis and the UM Band of the Hour will gather on Friday, October 19 at noon on the Edward T. Foote II University Green to form one of the largest U’s of all time. It is an absolute surefire way of ending up in the Ibis Yearbook. Show up and become a part of Hurricane history.
Wear orange and green and enter the ’Canes Spirit Day Photo Contest for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Visit www.miami.edu/canesspirit for more details.
