June 10, 2011 — Coral Gables — The University of Miami’s Business Development Program (BDP) and the Purchasing Department will host two reverse networking events that will help raise awareness of the University’s commitment to supplier diversity. Open to all UM employees, the events will occur on Friday, June 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center, 1400 NW 12th Avenue, Miami, and on Wednesday, August 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Whitten University Center, Flamingo Ballroom. Both events will provide opportunities to meet some of the women- and minority-owned enterprises that have been authorized to conduct business on UM’s campuses. Attend and receive a gift as well as a training refresher from BDP and Purchasing.
