Christianity


The word Christian comes from the Greek word, kristos, meaning “anointed one.” Christians share the belief that Jesus Christ was anointed by God to bring salvation to people from their sins. However, Christianity is also a very diverse religion, and even this broad definition of a “Christian” is not interpreted by all Christians in the same way.

Islam is a monotheistic religion practiced by over 1.3 billion people throughout the world. Islam is the second most practiced religion after Christianity and is considered the fastest growing religion of the world. The word Islam means “submission” and “peace” in Arabic.

Judaism


Judaism is an ancient religion that has played a significant role in the shaping of the two major religions: Christianity and Islam. Jews are monotheistic, believing in only one supreme God. The beginnings of Judaism date back to 2000 BCE. Judaism is a living faith where the customs and beliefs are practiced daily.
