Q. What does "storage location" mean in IWPM and WinView?

A. The storage location number identifies where the document is currently stored.

  • "0" Means that the document was never stored.
  • "1" Means that the document is stored only in the hard disk of the server. The "1" should become a "3."
  • "2" Means that the document is stored in the optical juke box only.
  • "3" Means that the document is stored in the hard disk and optical. (It takes longer to bring up a document from optical than it does from hard disk.)
