Q. After I selected option 8 (Reindex) from IWPM, the document was removed. How can I restore the document?

A. If this happens, contact us at 284-2140 or email dm.it@miami.edu so that we can restore the document for you.

If you type 8 (the Reindex option) next to a document, it will remove it from the file cabinet and put it in a "reindex" queue.

The right way to change the indexing keywords is to type Option 9 (Change Keywords) next to the document.

For more information on changing document keywords and other scanning features, download the IWPM SCAN AND VIEW MANUAL

Q. When I try to scan using IWPM, I get a message saying that my password is not correct. What should I do?

A. The reason you are getting this message is because your password is set to expire.

Say "No" to this message and signon to Session A. When you signon to Session A, change your password, then go back to My Computer and reconnect the E drive. (You may need to disconnect the E drive and connect it again).
