The University strives to create and maintain an environment where performance excellence is valued and recognized, provides growth and sustainability, and engenders pride. Performance excellence is about aligning goals, giving and receiving feedback that contributes to our personal improvement, taking responsibility for performing at our best, and supporting each other along the way, as noted in the Performance Excellence Philosophy.

2014 Staff Performance Appraisal Process Begins February 3
The annual employee performance appraisal period will run from February 3 through March 31, 2014 for all campuses, including the University of Miami hospitals. It is important that (non-probationary) regular full- and part-time employees participate in this process, providing self-assessments, receiving clear feedback from their supervisors, and defining developmental goals for the coming year.
