Kronos Workforce Central is a web-based program where employee timekeeping activity is logged, stored and approved. All University of Miami hourly-paid employees log in their hours worked using the telephone (TeleTime Workforce (TTE) system), a Kronos time clock wall-unit or the Kronos Internet portal (for hearing impaired employees only). Hours captured by the TTE system are transferred real time to the Kronos database where supervisors or timekeepers are assigned to approve their corresponding employees’ hours at the end of every pay period. Newly hired employees are entered into Kronos through DHRS. Employees who have a supervisory role must request Kronos Timekeeper access to approve timecards through the Payroll Office.
