What exactly are temps?
Unlike permanent employees, temporary workers are, as their name suggests, temporary. They are workers who are available on short notice for positions that may last from a few hours to one year. Typically, temps fill administrative and office assistant roles, as well as receptionist, clerical, and data-entry positions. However, this is only a partial list and there are many, many other duties that are served by the temp pool and its qualified workers.
