The Honors Day Convocation was established in 1980 as a celebration of academic excellence. The Convocation recognizes distinguished undergraduates from all disciplines, outstanding members of the various honor societies and honors students to be graduated with General Honors in May or Summer 2014. It is by invitation that students are invited to participate in the Convocation. The various colleges, schools, departments, and academic honor societies select their most outstanding graduating senior and the Honors Program acknowledge students who have fulfilled the requirements to be graduated with General Honors. The invitation to participate will be sent in late March.
Provost LeBlanc, Wm. Scott Green, Dean of Undergraduate Education, along with the Deans of each college/school present awards to students.
