Acts as the liaison between the University of Miami and all local government offices. |

Facilitates and implements the University’s local government strategy. |

Maintains regular working relationships with local elected officials and their staff. |
| |

Represents the University to appropriate organizations or coalitions, and other groups to establish and maintain contacts to aid and foster government relations activities. |

|
Fosters community relations and represents the University in local organizations such as The Beacon Council, Miami-Dade County League of Cities, Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce |
