More than 70 University of Miami faculty, staff, and students served as judges at the Miami-Dade Science and Engineering Expo last month at the Miami Dade College North Campus Science Complex.
During the Expo, elementary, middle, and high school students competed in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through the South Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair, the Elementary Science Fair, and the Science, Engineering, Communication, Mathematics Enhancement (SECME) Olympiad and Festival.
