The Faculty Senate at its meeting of March 27, 1995 voted to approve on first reading Faculty Senate Legislation #94008(B) - Establishment of the Ph.D. Degree in Romance Languages. The Senate also voted to waive the second reading of the proposal. The text of the proposal is attached.
