FSAP consultations are performed by licensed mental health professionals whose expertise includes assessment of a wide range of issues. When necessary, they refer to appropriate resources.

Caliope Bootle, Program Support, FSAP, cbootle@miami.edu, is the first voice most FSAP callers will hear and the first face they will see when they come into our office. Before her employment with UM’s FSAP, she attended Robert Morgan Educational center, where she received an Administrative Assistant Program Specialist degree.

Orlando Gonzalez, MSEd, LMHC, CEAP, Director, FSAP, orlando@miami.edu, is a graduate of the University of Miami.  A Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional, he has a professional background working within corporate, mental health rehabilitation and private practice workplace settings.  In addition to other clinical positions, he has also served as adjunct faculty at Miami-Dade College for six and a half years. He provides consultations in English and Spanish.

Pilar Tamburrino, MS, LMHC, Employee Assistance Professional, FSAP, ptamburrino@miami.edu, earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.  A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, she has a professional background working within community mental health centers, private practice, delivery of FSAP services, and partial hospitalization programs.  Ms. Tamburrino provides consultations in English and Spanish.

Rosario Zavala, MSW, LCSW, Employee Assistance Professional, FSAP, r.zavala@miami.edu , earned her undergraduate and Masters of Social Work degree from Florida International University.  A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, her professional background includes working within community mental health centers, delivery of Employee Assistance Program services and partial hospitalization programs. Ms. Rosario Zavala provides consultations in English and Spanish.
