The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) provides free and confidential consultation and referral services to University of Miami faculty, staff, and retirees, as well as their domestic partners, spouses and dependents. Sessions are conducted by Florida licensed mental health professionals who assess concerns, offer support, and recommend services that can be of help.
The FSAP commonly addresses the following personal and workplace concerns:
Personal Concerns: Family and relationship problems, parent-child concerns, care of elderly parents, interpersonal difficulties, stress management, grief and loss, mood or emotional difficulties, substance abuse or dependency, legal matters and financial concerns.
Workplace Concerns: Conflict with co-worker, conflict with supervisor, performance issues, sexual harassment, unfair treatment and workplace stress.
