American Legal Ethics Library (ALEL)
The ALEL collection includes standards for the professional conduct of lawyers and commentary on the law governing lawyers, organized on a state by state basis. ALEL is maintained by Cornell Law School’s Legal Information Institute.

Bioethics Resources on the Web (BRW)
The National Institutes of Health BRW site provides a compilation of links on topics including human subjects and animal research, institutional review boards, clinical ethics, international research ethics issues, genetics, and neuroethics.

Ethics CORE
This National Science Foundation-funded online resource at the University of Illinois “gathers and disseminates ethics resources, including educational curricula and online courses, reference materials, scholarly and research literature and resources available for use in Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) education required by NSF and other funders of research.”

Ethics Education Library (EEL)
EEL’s collection provides resources for scholars and university administrators interested in developing ethics training and instruction programs for undergraduate and graduate students, focusing engineering and science.  Maintained by the Center for the Study of Ethics in the Professions at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Ethics in Science and Engineering National Clearinghouse (ESENCe)
ESENCe provides access to a variety of materials on ethics and the responsible conduct of research in science and engineering disciplines. ESENCe is maintained by the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.

EthicShare
EthicShare’s site contains a comprehensive collection of ethics resources including searchable research materials, group discussions, current news articles, and upcoming events, focusing on bioethics. The project is led by the University of Minnesota.

Ethics Updates

Resources and updates on current ethics literature, both popular and professional. Intended for use by ethics instructors and their students.  Maintained by the Values Institute at the University of San Diego.

Ethicsweb Consortium
The “Inter-connected European information and documentation system for ethics and science” provides links to ethics-related web sites throughout the European Community.  Part of the European Ethics Documentation Centre.

Islamic Bioethics Resources
“A contribution to the Resources for Teaching and Learning in Contemporary Islamic Thinking project.”

Markulla Center for Applied Ethics
Collection of articles, cases, briefings, and dialogue in all fields of applied ethics, including business ethics, health care and biotech ethics, and K-12 “character education.” The Markulla Center is at Santa Clara University.

Online Ethics Center for Engineering and Research (OEC)
OEC provides scholarly literature and information, case studies and references, and discussion groups on ethics in engineering and science. It is a project of the National Academy of Engineering.

President’s Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues
The Commission is a source of reports on and analyses of issues in bioethics, and “advises the President on bioethical issues arising from advances in biomedicine and related areas of science and technology.”

Project for Scholarly Integrity (PSI)
PGSI, an initiative of the Council of Graduate Schools, seeks to advance the scope and quality of graduate education in the ethical and responsible conduct of research.

Resources for Research Ethics Education (RREE)
The RREE site provides resources and tools for both students and teachers of research ethics, including teaching content, cases, questions and supplemental materials for the commonly taught RCR topics. Includes recommendations on teaching methods by setting.  Maintained by UC-San Diego.
