As administrator of the Ethics Programs, Ana is responsible for management and operations. Prior to joining the Ethics Programs, Ms Bezanilla worked 10 years in the Office of Medical Development as director of donor relations, managing a comprehensive donor relations plan to help reach fund-raising goals for the Miller School of Medicine.

Director, Pediatrics ProgramDr. Brosco, a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, completed an M.D. and a Ph.D. in the history of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Donald M. Buckner, M.D.

Dr. Buckner spent 33 years as a pediatric surgeon at the University of Miami. Among his many interests were and remain the ethical issues surrounding impaired newborns. This interest was spurred and supported by weekly rounds with an ethicist over several years during the early part of his career.

Reid Cushman directs the UM training program in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
Dr. Cushman received his training in economics, political science and public policy at the University of Virginia. Goodman is founder and director of the University of Miami Bioethics Program and its Pan American Bioethics Initiative and co-director of the university’s Ethics Programs, including its Business Ethics Program.
