ERP systems integrate all of an organization’s departments, divisions, lines of business, and geographical locations into a single, shared, unified, and enterprise-wide information system. The University is an “enterprise” and an ERP solution integrates all functions—student information, human resources, and financial systems—into one administrative system.
The new student information system, called CaneLink, provides students and faculty with many new capabilities, including an enhanced registration process, course wait lists, prerequisite checking, student academic planning, improved tools for academic advising, and increased off-campus access to integrated academic information and services.
The Workday HR system will improve the delivery of HR services and allow the University to streamline and automate processes and procedures using a next-generation platform that can support the University’s mission. Workday is designed to help create a more nimble process and data driven organization.
The Workday Finance system will replace the 20-year-old legacy financial applications at the University. More information about this implementation coming soon.
