Welcome to the Office of Market Research & Communications at the University of Miami!
The Office of Market Research and Communications is organized within the Division of Enrollment Management under Dean Edward Gillis. Our mission is to ensure that decisions relating to enrollment management are based on appropriate and accurate information and that the Division’s messages are communicated in a strategic and cohesive manner across various media. Our office designs, develops, and executes targeted and integrated marketing campaigns using the media listed above to help the Division of Enrollment Management maintain a competitive advantage when communicating with students, parents and other important constituencies.
Essentially, we serve as “consultants” in the area of enrollment marketing, which includes both market research and communications, to the offices that make up the Division of Enrollment Management. Specifically, we serve the Office of Admission, the Office of Financial Assistance, the Office of International Admission, the Office of Retention (’Cane Success Center), and the Office of Student Employment.
