Community outreach is a vital component of the University of Miami’s academic mission. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for all South Floridians and beyond by sharing our resources, focusing our efforts, and providing visitors to campus a unique view of the world. Our students, faculty, staff, and alumni give back to the community in many strategic and helpful ways, and the ‘Canes in the Community website highlights a variety of programs that are of interest and beneficial to a wide community audience. To browse our community programs, see the highlighted items below, select an area of interest (at right), or visit a listing of all our programs here.
