Regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff and their dependents are eligible for health care benefits.  Part-time employees pay different premium rates for medical and dental insurance. 

Eligible dependents include spouses, same-sex domestic partnersand children up to age 26. If your child is age 19 - 26, they must be full-time students. (For dental benefits your child may be covered up to age 25 regardless of their student status). Dependent audits are conducted twice each year. You must be prepared to submit proof of eligibility during each audit.

When first enrolling a dependent, you must also provide proof of your relationship.  This includes a copy of marriage certificates to enroll spouses, birth certificates for children and the same-sex domestic partner declaration form for partner enrollments.
