Once you've defended successfully and have made the changes your committee recommended, submit your post-defense draft to the dissertation editor one week after you defend to begin the final formatting review of your thesis, doctoral essay, or dissertation. The post-defense draft can be submitted in one master Word file, up to four separate Word files, or in PDF form by e-mail to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

If the post-defense draft is very large, you can submit the file(s) by SecureSend or send a link to the document via Dropbox or Google Docs. For instructions on how to submit your document using SecureSend.

Once the final formatting review is completed and approved by the dissertation editor you should convert the document into one final PDF if you have not already done so. Send the final PDF to the dissertation editor at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for review. If the PDF is approved you will be given permission by e-mail to upload the final PDF to the Scholarly Repository.
