PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAMS The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Physical Therapy offers both an entry-level clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) for those wishing to gain licensure to practice physical therapy, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Physical Therapy (Ph.D.) that develops physical therapist students for leadership positions in academic and research settings.
