Natalie Miller, French horn, is majoring in Instrumental Performance at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where she is a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps Woodwind Quintet, Class of 2019, coached by faculty mentor Robert Weiner. She studies horn privately with Richard Todd. Miller attended Keller High School in Texas where she studied privately with Karen Houghton. During her time in high school she was a four-year member of Keller High School’s varsity marching band and was the French horn section leader for two years. Natalie made the Texas All-State band her junior and senior year, and placed in the highest orchestra both years. In 2014, her horn quartet placed 1st at the Texas Christian University Hornfest High School Horn Quartet Competition and in 2015 she received an honorable mention in the TCU Hornfest High School Solo Competition. She was also a member of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestras for 3 years.

Anthony Taboada is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Music Engineering Technology at the University of Miami Frost School of Music where he is a Stamps Music Scholar. A bassoonist, he performed with the Stamps Woodwind Quintet for one year (2011-2012). An academically strong student with a great aptitude for math and science, he is now devoting his studies to audio engineering. He studies bassoon privately with Luciani Magnanini and performs in the Frost Symphonic Winds and other ensembles at the Frost School of Music. Taboada is a native of Miami, Florida. He began his studies on bassoon at the age of 16, under the instruction of Geoff Hale. He attended Coral Reef Senior High School as part of the Visual and Performing Arts magnet, where he was a member of the school’s Wind Ensemble, Orchestra Winds, and Marching Band. He has also performed with the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, the New World Symphony, and in the Miami Music Projects Honors Orchestra. Also a skilled guitarist, he performed in the school’s Jazz Band, as well as in the pit for local musical theater productions.
