Undergraduate students entering the Frost School of Music have outstanding musical and academic credentials:
• Average composite SAT score of 1300; ACT 29 (math/critical reading)
• A competitive academic profile
Once accepted and enrolled, a Stamps Music Scholar must complete a full-time program of study in the Frost School of Music, that is, no fewer than 12 credit hours during each of the fall and spring semesters for a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 must be maintained at the University of Miami, with the initial calculation at the end of the first semester of attendance.
