The BA in Music is comprised of three fundamental areas:
1. Music Study – applied instrument/voice, ensembles, Music Theory, Music History
2. General Education – courses in English, Math, Sciences, People and Society, Arts, Humanities, Foreign Language, plus electives
3. Minor area of focused study (outside of music); students may take additional courses in the area to complete a double major
This degree has enormous flexibility in accommodating a wide range of student interests and talents. Special tracks of study have been established to assist students with particular goals. These tracks include:
