The Artist-Faculty of the Woodwind Program at the Frost School of Music are committed to the highest standard of excellence in our profession and to the education of our students in a progressive environment. We strive for the students’ successful development and transformation into artists who have an individual voice. The Woodwind Faculty are active performers as well as dedicated teachers,  presenting performances, masterclasses and clinics worldwide.

The Woodwind Program frequently hosts guest artist masterclasses. A small sampling of these artists include musicians from the Cleveland Orchestra, David Krakauer, Mark Nuccio, Richard Stoltzman, and Dmitri Ashkenazy. Our graduates hold significant positions in the music profession, both as performers and university faculty.
