The Frost School of Music String Program is committed to providing the highest level of excellence in all areas of string performance, including intensive chamber music, orchestral preparation, alternative/crossover performance, and solo performance. Guest masterclasses and clinics are regularly given by internationally-renowned soloists and pedagogues, including Janos Starker, Leila Josefowicz, Mark O’Connor, members of the Emerson, Ying and Julliard Quartets, and members of the Cleveland Orchestra. Under the dedicated guidance of our world-class and award-winning string faculty, alumni have gone on to major careers in performance and university positions.
