In addition to performing on television, the Henry Mancini Institute recently completed audio and video recordings in conjunction with film composer Dave Grusin as part of the JazzRoots series at the Adrienne Arsht Center.

Produced by Larry Rosen and Phil Ramone, An Evening with Dave Grusin features Dave Grusin and a stellar line up of guest artists performing some of Grusin’s biggest film hits, as well as music he arranged from Bernstein’s West Side Story and Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess.

The project is now available on audio CD and Blu-ray Disc from Concord Music Group.  The performance was video recorded with nine cameras and incredible audio, and the production is fully detailed with backstage stories and interviews in an i-Pad app by the same name, released by ROBA Interactive.
