Festival Miami is a dynamic music festival presented by the University of Miami Frost School of Music during the month of October.  It brings new artists to the region, premieres new works, and has an international flair that draws audiences from far and wide.

The Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra performs annually with special guests artists at Festival Miami, and HMI Outbound coordinates and presents master classes, workshops, free open rehearsals and other community engagement activities in conjunction with the festival.

The HMI Orchestra has performed at Festival Miami with the popular Latin group Tiempo Libre, flutist Nestor Torres, and premiered new arrangements featured on Arturo Sandoval’s Latin Grammy-winning CD, A Time for Love.
