The Henry Mancini Institute is funded primarily through private contributions from music patrons who are passionate about its mission and are inspired to help Mancini Fellows achieve their academic and professional goals.
Students interested in auditioning for Mancini Fellowships should contact the office of Graduate Studies at the Frost School of Music for admissions information. Once invited into the program, and through the generosity of our Moon River Society patrons, each Mancini Fellow receives a stipend for up to two years for a master’s fellowship, or up to three years for a doctoral fellowship. In addition, the University of Miami provides free graduate tuition to those who are selected and complete their degrees.
Our goal is to have 65 fully funded fellowships by 2012.
Mancini Fellows earn advanced music degrees from the Frost School of Music while performing in the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra and participating in HMI Outbound activities that bring new music to the community.
