Breaking New Ground, Moving Frost Forward

The goal to build new music facilities at the Frost School of Music is more important than ever before. The music and entertainment industries are changing daily, necessitating a change in the way music is taught, disseminated and enjoyed around the world. It is essential that we invest in our infrastructure now to ensure we remain at the forefront of these new frontiers.

During the last capital campaign, new recording, performance and library facilities were built, thanks to the leadership gift of Phillip and Patricia Frost, the generosity of Austin and Marta Weeks and the charitable giving of many others.

Now, our new Momentum2 Campaign for the Phillip and Patricia Frost School of Music aims to break ground on three new pivotal buildings that will put the school on the map as one of the most innovative and relevant places to study and teach music in the world. Facilities to create revenue-generating multi-media, blended and online classes will enable the Frost School to take a lead position in new teaching paradigms. In turn, we will attract strong academic and industry partners, and help lead the music profession itself.

While we celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Patricia Louise Frost Music Studios and the dedication of the Marta S. Weeks Music Quadrangle, we invite you to add your name to this outstanding roster of musical philanthropists who are committed to the future of our great school, university, and community.
