Wonderful naming opportunities are available as we expand and improve our music campus during our Momentum2 campaign. Your support will help provide top-of-the-line facilities for our students and faculty, and honor your family name for generations to come.
Center for Experiential Music
The top campaign priority for the Frost School of Music is to build a brand new Center for Experiential Music to meet the future needs of our students. Built to the highest LEED standards and equipped with sophisticated multimedia and interactive learning capabilities, this state-of-the-art facility will provide flexible studios, classrooms, black box, and rehearsal halls. Prominent naming opportunities are available for both the building itself, as well as individual spaces.
New Recital Hall
The school also plans a new beautifully appointed 200-seat Recital Hall with an acoustic chamber designed specifically for solo and small ensemble performances. While we have secured significant funding for portions of this building to date, we will be happy to discuss with you the naming opportunity for the building itself, or the lobby, grand staircase, donor reception room, and outdoor patio.
Music Studios and Classrooms
Currently under construction is the Patricia Louise Frost Music Studios, with over 85 teaching studios in three sizes (S, M, L) that will double as chamber music rehearsal spaces—plus several new large classrooms, a grand new campus entrance, and information center to welcome visitors and new applicants arriving for auditions. Naming opportunities for its teaching studios begin at $50,000. We encourage you to honor your family, favorite professor, current student or alum by naming a studio or classroom!
Student Practice Rooms
After the Patricia Louise Frost Music Studios is completed, the Bertha Foster Practice Building will undergo a substantial renovation, including all-new air central conditioning including replacing all ductwork throughout the building, new floors, secure entry doors, elevators, and improved lighting. Naming opportunities for individual practice rooms begin at $10,000.
Because we compete with renowned institutions that often waive tuition for outstanding students, Frost School priorities also include opportunities to provide for a greater number of endowed scholarships and student stipends.
Faculty Chairs, Programmatic Support, and Community Outreach
Other key goals include endowments to retain top faculty, recruit renowned musicians as visiting or permanent faculty, and expand traveling programs, as well as increased support for community outreach and mentorship programs. Our development office can work with you to make a great match with our dean’s and faculty’s priorities.
Our plans are ambitious, and we cannot delay. The future of music is in our hands. With your leadership support, we will move the Frost School of Music from great to exceptional.
