Frost School of Music Names Outstanding Students for Class of 2014

May 09, 2014 — Coral Gables, FL — The faculty and executive committee of the Frost School of Music named 12 undergraduate music students as the 2014 Frost School of Music Outstanding Seniors and two Outstanding Graduate Students for their academic and artistic excellence. Each student was chosen as an overall Outstanding Student in their respective program area after a confidential nomination and vetting process by Frost faculty. In addition, senior Gene Knific was named Phillip and Patricia Frost Outstanding Student of 2014. Students received their awards during a private luncheon at the home of Dean Shelton G. Berg, co-hosted by Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies Steven Moore. They were also honored at the University of Miami Honors Convocation on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
