August 25, 2015 – Frost School of Music at the University of Miami announces a gift for 115 new marching band instruments and a full set of newly designed uniforms that will be debuted by Frost Band of the Hour at the UM Hurricanes opening game on September 5.

March 18, 2015 – Naming Benefactors Dr. Phillip and Patricia Frost Donate $1 Million to rename the Frost School's highly effective MusicReach community music program in honor of UM's outgoing president, Donna E. Shalala.
