October 08, 2015 – Kathyanne Guy, Dance Program Director and longtime dance faculty member at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, died September 17, 2015 in Miami, Florida. She was 66.

July 02, 2015 – Pianist Tal Cohen, M.M. ’15, who just earned his master’s degree graduate in jazz performance in May from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, was named one of four finalists for a prestigious Freedman Jazz Fellowship.
