October 16, 2015 – The Frost School of Music is pleased to announce that Opening Weekend of its 32nd annual Festival Miami, presented by UHealth—University of Miami Health System, received a music Pick of the Week recommendation today by The Miami Herald.
October 09, 2015 – The Frost School of Music will present its annual gala holiday dinner Winter Wonderful on December 6 to benefit music scholarships and its community music mentoring program, the Donna E. Shalala MusicReach Program at the Frost School of Music.
October 08, 2015 – Kathyanne Guy, Dance Program Director and longtime dance faculty member at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, died September 17, 2015 in Miami, Florida. She was 66.
September 17, 2015 – Ksenija Komljenović, a doctoral candidate at UM Frost, has been awarded a 2015-16 International Fellowship from the American Association of University Women (AAUW). A native of Serbia, Komljenović is working toward her DMA in percussion performance.

June 01, 2015 – The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami announces the selection of Dr. Robert M. Carnochan as professor of music, director of wind ensemble activities and conductor of the Frost Wind Ensemble beginning August 15, 2015.
May 15, 2015 – Professor of Music Gary Green, who served on the University of Miami Frost School of Music faculty as director of bands for 22 years and led the Frost Wind Ensemble to international prominence, is retiring at the end of May, 2015.
